Wide variety of menu choices, and the food is always good, particularly anything with shrimp. Their chili dogs and Philly are amazing. Most impressive though is the bar service (drinks, as well as to-go service). Orders are always correct and served friendly and professionally. If you find yourself in the outer rim of Charleston county, Southside 17 is definitely worth hitting.

Great location close to the highway. It is not close to the interstate access. It is located in a large shopping center with various types of stores and businesses located around the area.

This was a great place to watch games. Food was ok. Service was good.

Normally it is a very good place and have been there many times. Only 4 stars because most recent time there they over cooked/burned my pancake order and still thought it was ok to box up my Togo order and send it. No way if I was eating there would they have allowed that to be served.

I have been there 4 times, 3 of which to watch football on a Sunday. Every time it took a minimum of 40 minutes to get my food. Each time I ordered a Burger and only twice was there even a good crowd in the place. Besides taking forever fries were soggy, the burger wasn't bad but nothing special. The last time I had to send the burger back because the bacon on the burger was basically raw. Before that I never had to send a burger back in my entire life. That for me was the last straw. If I am going out to watch a game I'll pass on this place. Though the bartenders are nice and it's close by I want to go to a place that has a kitchen staff that can get the food to you reasonably fast and knows how to cook.

Had a burger and fries. Both were very good. Great service! Plenty of convenient parking. Outdoor seating as well. I have gone there in the past and will be going again.

Very nice place, and the atmosphere is great. Service was a little slow, but they were extremely busy. Food was amazing and moderately priced. Portion sizes were great.

After the last time where they acted as if they didn't want or need our business (we'd call in multiple orders for lunch), I won't go back. Just completely rude the last time I ordered and picked up lunch.

I go there as much as I possibly can they have the best chili I've ever had. All of their other lunch specials are out of sight! Their staff is as just as well if not better!!

Great sports bar with surprisingly good food! The shrimp and grits are amazing...better than I've had in downtown Charleston! Doug and his staff treat you right!

This place is great!!! I love their burgers and fries. The fried mushrooms are awesome too. Great atmosphere either with or without kids. Staff has always been super friendly. Always felt comfortable at the bar. Huge fan of Southside 17.

Why have a great band that plays dance music and refuse to move the empty tables so people can dance?? Major attitude from two waitresses. Food was good but the rest not.

The people are friendly here, like a family. The drinks are cold, and the food is delicious!! They also have TVs to watch the games, and live music on the weekend!!

Jordan excelled in both service and proper attentiveness; not bothersome but always available. Chicken Nachos were good and the Reuben sandwich and Sweet Potatoes Fries we're fantastic! A great experience!

We were camped at the Oaks Plantation. After our day of sight-seeing in Charleston we were looking for a sports bar, near our camp, to watch the Badger football game. This was perfect! Literally, right around the corner. Fans of every team playing. Everyone was having a good time. Great service, great food and drink. And, great prices! Just what we were looking for. We decided to stay another day in Charleston, and ended up also watching the Packers game on Sunday. We will definitely stop here anytime we're in the area!
